I have been on two trips to Italy with Monti e Mare, Tasteful Tours of Italy. Both trips were upscale and most enjoyable. Accomodations , food and tours were fabulous. All involved became friends and thoughly enjoyed ourselves. I recommend this company to all.

My husband and I have travelled to Italy twice with Susan and Biagio. The first trip was to theTuscany Region in 2009. We had the most wonderful experience - so when we learned that they were organizing a trip to the Amalfi Coast Region in 2011, we signed up without a moment's hesitation - we knew we were going to experience another trip of a lifetime - and we surely did! Whether it was making our travel arrangements, planning our daily itineraries or cooking delicious evening dinners, attention was paid to every detail - making us feel relaxed and right at home. We came home very grateful to Susan and Biagio for sharing Italy with us in a way that is truly special and unique.

She met all of our families travel needs with warmth and friendship. We enjoyed the spectacular views from the patio, generous home cooked meals, in depth knowledge of the area and just being spoiled! This is the REAL experience that you rarely find when you are not a local! Susan and Biagio did a magnificent job of helping us have an authentic experience. Each of us had our expectations exceeded. We had more amazing food than we could fit in our bellies. We had in-house language interpreters, and expertise on what was available to do, how to do it and then help in carrying out plans--even when we were going in 3 different directions. If you want an authentic experience--this is it. Eat, cook, eat, rest, enjoy the PRICELESS views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Live like a very well-fed local. Susan and Biagio helped us make dreams come true. Thank you!

I loved my stay here and would do it again in a heartbeat. If you want to feel like part of a real Italian family and BE treated as such this is the place to stay. Central to many things to see and do with a wonderful view of Mt. Vesuvius on one side, the ocean and other islands (Capri, Ithica, and Sorrento) on the other. I cannot remember the last time I ate so well. From hiking Mt. Vesuvius, exploring Pompeii, meeting new friends and making my taste buds feel alive again... what else is there to say. It was fabulous. Thank you Susan and Biagio for a wonderful holiday which I will never forget!! Oh and I must not forget the European tubs (which are much larger and deeper for a great soak), ah pure delight. All the fresh foods PLUS the homemade wine, lemonchello and chocolate liquor you MUST MUST taste and all the recipes you learn to take home so that you will remember your trip for years to come while sharing these tastes with your family and friends.
